The Center of Excellence for Healthy Aging with HIV (The Center) is a cross-sectoral partnership that will serve as the national organizing center for the third phase of the Gilead HIV AGE Positively (HAP) Initiative.
Gilead Zeroing In Evaluation
The program evaluation project provided by TRX Development Solutions, LLC utilizes the RE-AIM implementation science framework to provide the Sponsor with a robust assessment of The Initiative’s reach, implementation, impact, and replicability.
UMMHC / Project LAUNCH
The Healthy LAUNCH program promotes the wellness of young children, from birth to 8 years of age, by addressing the social, emotional, cognitive, physical, and behavioral aspects of their development, preparing young children to thrive in school and beyond. TRX provides multi-method evaluation through data dashboards, survey development and tracking.
South Shore Guidance Center/ Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic
Mixed-method evaluation including data dashboarding and interviews with staff to increase access to and improve the quality and scope of community behavioral health services through the expansion of the CCBHC at SSGC, serving both adults and children.
Serenity BHS/Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic (CCBHC)
The CCBHC model improves access to comprehensive and coordinated mental health and substance use care. TRX utilizes multi-method evaluation to support efforts to increase access to and improve the quality and scope of services through the CCBHC at Serenity BHS.

VNS Health Behavioral Health, Inc. Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic
TRX provides thorough support and guidance on SAMHSA and CCBHC compliance, including staff training; collection and reporting of performance indicators; monthly meetings and interaction with program staff for quality assurance and quality improvement projects, and all narrative reporting to SAMHSA, per CMHS and CCBHC guidance.
Vibrant Emotional Health / LGBTQ+ Family Support
TRX engages in mixed-method evaluation to support the Queens Affirming Youth and Family Alliance program which provides services to LGBTQI+ youth and young adults in New York City. The purpose of the project is to serve LGBTQI+ youth who are experiencing significant physical, behavioral or psychological health conditions with special emphasis upon reaching individuals who are experiencing behavioral health issues that place them at risk of suicide.

Puerto Rican Family Institute (PRFI), Child Trauma Center Program Evaluation
Lead Evaluator for Category III Child Trauma Center in the National Child Traumatic Stress Initiative (NCTSI), with a catchment area covering New York City.
LGBTQAI+ Youth Support Project
TRX will conduct focus groups with LGBTQAI+ youth in foster care and foster parents, survey parents in the system, and report results to the foundation and ACS. The purpose of the project is to explore the experiences of LGBTQAI+ children and foster parents in follow-up to an ACS study in 2020 that showed important differences in experiences and risks for LGBTQAI+ and other children in foster care in New York.
LIFT (LGBTQ Institute for Family Therapy) Evaluation
LIFT is a training and certification program for Licensed Master Social Workers (LMSW) and Licensed Clinical Social Workers (LCSW) who provide therapeutic services to families involved with New York City’s Administration for Children’s Services (ACS). TRX will assess existing evaluation results, report findings, and design new evaluation process to move forward.
ESCALATE: Ending Stigma through Collaboration And Lifting All To Empowerment
Implementation Science evaluation of Anti-HIV Stigma programming for the Ryan White HIV/AIDS Program, a cooperative agreement between HRSA and NMAC reaching 1,100+ staff and community members nationally, including training, technical assistance, and Learning Collaboratives. Project partners include HRSA/HIV-AIDS Bureau, NMAC, Abt Associates, NORC at the University of Chicago, and TRX.
Abuse in Later Life Primary Prevention Training Pilot
Conduct a pilot study of the Vera House Abuse in Later Life training curriculum for professionals who work with people over sixty years of age in the banking, financial, retail, and other sectors. The curriculum’s objective is to help trainees identify and understand the causes and consequences of elder abuse, remedies and resources to support people experiencing abuse, and techniques to engage in de-escalation and bystander intervention.
Being Vibrant: Interactive Chronic Disease Self-management Wellness Manual
Program evaluation services for the implementation of the Self-Management Wellness Manual that will be embedded in the agency Electronic Health Record and provide a platform for the continuous development of patient self-management capacities with the direct support of providers, care coordinators, case managers, and other service

Project RITE
Program evaluation services for the provision of evidence-based interventions for young, Black men who have sex with men and other populations with substance use or co-occurring disorders who are living with, or are at risk of infection with, HIV.
Capacity Development, Ryan White Part C
Program evaluation services for the implementation of the Patient Self-Management Support (PSMS) intervention for patients in the clinic’s Ryan White programs.
Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic (CCBHC)
Multi-method evaluation of a two-year program to increase access to and improve the quality and scope of community behavioral health services through the expansion of the CCBHC at CSO, serving both adults and children.
Friends of the Homeless Integrated Treatment and Support (FOHITS)
Multi-method evaluation of a program to significantly expand and enhance service capacity at Friends of the Homeless in Springfield, Massachusetts. The program provides trauma-informed addiction and mental health treatment and recovery support services for 100 chronically homeless individuals annually.
Project Vogue - Gay Men’s Health Crisis (GMHC), New York, New York
Lead Evaluator on a pilot program of care coordination for HIV-positive Black men who have sex with men (MSM) ages 18-35. The multi-method evaluation examines how social support and other mechanisms operate in the New York City House and Ball Community to support progress on the HIV Care Continuum.
Law Help Interactive/Risk Detector Evaluation
Multi-method evaluation of PBN’s web-based platforms for expanding access to legal resources for elders and seniors who may be at risk of financial and other exploitation.
Community Hospital Acceleration, Revitalization, and Transformation Investments (CHART II)
Evaluation of program to enhance behavioral health care and reduce emergency department utilization. Responsible for quantitative analysis of program results
Consolidated Grant Program to Address Children and Youth Experiencing Domestic and Sexual Assault and Engage Men and Boys as Allies
Evaluation services for four interventions for persons who have experienced or been exposed to domestic or intimate partner violence, including: “12 Men Model” program for adult males; Men of Strength (MOST) Clubs for middle- and high school boys; “Queer Life Program” for LGBT youth; and clinical programs for youth (any gender). For the Queer Life Program, TRX also conducted formative research and provided support for the development of the curriculum.
Project HEALTH - Gay Men’s Health Crisis (GMHC), New York, New York
Lead Evaluator for a pilot program of care coordination for HIV-positive individuals experiencing homelessness and in need of support for employment and skills development.
B. Health Informatics Management
Ronald McDonald House – New York (RMH-NY)
Help RMH-NY identify and implement a new Electronic Health Records (EHR) system; pilot and test the system for integration with RMH-NY collaborations; train RMH-NY staff in utilization of the EHR; and develop a new monitoring and evaluation (M&E) framework to capture value-based care outcomes and impact.
Metropolitan Center for Mental Health (MCMH)
Implement and manage MCMH’s Electronic Health Records (EHR), Welligent; train MCMH staff in utilization of the EHR; liaise between Information Technology consultants and MCMH; design a new M&E system for agency-wide implementation and data-driven continuous quality improvement (CQI) processes; and pilot the evaluation design.
Electronic Health Records Management, Data Integration, and Billing integration
Implement and manage GMHC’s Electronic Health Records (EHR), manage data integration across SQL database and two EHRs (TREAT and Awards), implement a new behavioral health EHR and billing structure.

New York State LGBTQ+ Health and Human Services Needs Assessment
Statewide needs assessment of health and human services needs in LGBTQ+ communities, including statewide provider focus groups (180+ providers), statewide community survey (ages 13+), community forums, and policy recommendations.
Rural Access Project
Needs assessment and strategic planning implemented jointly with Lisa Blout (Cambridge, MA). The goal of the needs assessment was to create a strategic plan for pilot programs providing access to mental health services for victims of crime in rural northwestern Massachusetts.
